Nike Sasquatch Sumo2 Driver Ready for Release

Is it cool to be square? Yes according to Nike
Nike has launched a new driver to its Sasquatch range, the Sumo2 (Sumo Squared).
Sumo2 stands for Sumo Squared as the Nike Sasquatch Sumo2 is the first square headed driver produced by any of the major equipment manufacturers.
So why change the shape to a square shape? Well the new square shaped Sumo2 driver
creates lots of moment of inertia (MOI) and the simple truth is the higher the MOI is the more forgiving the club will be on off centre hits.
What does this mean? This means that for the average golfer who does not catch the ball right out of the screws (sweet spot) every time, he will get more distance and more accuracy on those mis-hits than he would of a similar driver with a lower MOI.
But how can a Square headed driver help with the MOI? Well Nike has took the SQ Power Bow and SQ Max Back center of gravity technology and incorporated these into the Sumo2 driver.
The Nike Sasquatch Sumo2 Driver has a beta-titanium face, titanium body and a composite crown this
Saves weight that Nike has redistributed further back in the club head to increase MOI.
The Sumo2 still has the Yellow sole plate and looks like a normal shaped driver at address, its just from the rear and sides you can tell that this has a special new design.
If you like having the latest golf equipment and like to be a little bit different then this could be the club for you, Nike Begins shipping the Sumo2 in January 2007 and should hit the shelves by Early February 2007.
